Like the Golden Tamarind, photographs of my grandmother are rare. This is a photograph of her high school graduating class. It is the only picture of my grandmother I have.

She is on the front row, second from the right, clearly the Belle of the Ball.

  1. [...] I don’t know that much about my Grandmother, as she died before I was born, but I know she was a nurse. At this time my Grandfather was in the trucking business and on the road a lot, so Annie Laurie would have driven herself to work and to take care of the business of the household.  I posted a rare photo of her in this post.
